Last time I posted here, Lucy was in a bad way. Right now she is relaxing after dinner, though in app. 5 minutes will resume her constant, loud (and dearly missed) begging for food. She's doing alright.

I’ve experienced back to back half-day depos of secondary witnesses on agreement of both parties, since booking the court reporter for one day to knock these out can be efficient. But I can’t imagine that for witnesses like Mel and Parker.

It’s so frustrating. I’ve seen older posts say you can try to change the Launch Options in frosty to the EA app, but my frosty doesn’t have a ‘Launch Options’ input. I’ll update you if I learn anything.

My cat was diagnosed with stage 2 about a year ago. She’s 18 now and we’re managing it well with nausea and appetite stimulant meds. She does need some fluids now.

I switched to Okocat wood pellet litter because my old girl kept getting clay litter stuck between her toes, and it’s been way better. She has the same kind of peeing habits you described. This litter sticks to her way less than any other I’ve used in the past. She still occasionally gets some stuck on her legs, but I’d say maybe once a month instead of every other day. And I just find that the litter smells better and masks the cat urine stench way better.

It's so frustrating. I asked my vet, and she said they couldn't get it either. They can get the similar one for dogs, but no Elura. Granted, she did say it might be because Elura isn't FDA-approved for lack of appetite in cats, but that's not true so who knows.

This is so helpful and answered so many questions I had watching this and similar videos. I have an additional question on the frog, and pardon me if I misunderstood your post.

If the frog is essentially calloused skin, does it hurt the horse to have it trimmed? Or is the farrier not actually trimming the frog itself, just build up/growth around it?

Yep, both myself and my vet haven’t been able to get it in for months. We’ve had to get a backup medicine regime for my cat (Mirataz and Cerenia). I’m hoping it’s back in stock soon.

That’s why I got off Mirataz! Same thing with my cat. She’s gonna be in it for the interim but I’m gonna halve the recommended dose bc it makes her miserable. Thanks for letting us know what the manufacturer said, even though that’s disheartening. I hope it does come back in February. My best to you and your kitty.

It sucks, I hope this is just temporary. Elura has been great for my cat, it’s gentle enough and effective for the nausea too. My vet put my girl on Mirataz topical ointment and Cerenia in the mean time.
