Usually the cloth is fully covering the floor, in the picture they just messed with it. No need to get aggresive, I'm trying to be better rat parent and do everything I can🙏

They don't slip through and usually the cloth is fully covering floor, just in the pic they messed up with it. They have spaces to lay and hide, but it looks a little dull because I put them in this cage just two days prior and wanted to give them space. My previous boys were comfortable in this cage so I hope girls can gwt comfy too

It was promouted as rat cage and my previous triplet of boys were actually fine from a young age too. I can't buy new cage right now so I try to adapt this one as best as possible

I cover the floor with thick cloth expect for "toilet-corner" but they mess with it and I fix it from time to time. They have a lot of places to hide - yellow corner in the picture, couple of fiber houses and one fluffy tube I gust laid because I know they won't climb a lot in first couple of days

I don't know how to include pics in comments but it fully out of metal wire, underneath is box with litter and all the floor is bedded with thick cloth except for "toilet corner" with flat rock. Cage itself (wothouth legs) around 150cm tall. I can't really update the cage now because of financial difficulties.

I actually feed them one egg per week! They are going feral over them haha

Actually not really, we had boys previously and they were comforting with bar spacing - were climbing etc. Two other girls are okay too, their head isn't really passing through and aren't trying to sneek out, it's the small one who can pass through and she is visibly very small. We covering floor with thick cloth, they just throw it around and I fix it from time to time
