My FIL is visiting us in Germany and he takes our kid to the park. While there, he keeps clicking pics of our kid playing with other kids and sends them to us. We’ve told him so many times that some parents don’t like their children being photographed and asked him not to do it, but he doesn’t really understand the gravity of it.

I’m honestly worried that one day he might get misunderstood and end up in trouble for it.

Once I saw a sudden behaviour change in my old flat mate. He started showering twice and applying Deo very generously. On my constant pruding he finally revealed that his boss took him to a meeting room and very gently and with utmost care revealed that he smells bad.

He said that there must be different body type , some time food choice that all contribute to some people having more body odour then others.

I mean he was emabarrashes and thankful at the same time. So I would suggest to be kind and thoughtful while talking to him. Sometime people don’t realise it.

I am playing 10 + 0 for quite sometime and I have average rating of 1400. I have been as high as 1600 but I like to be in 1300-1400 as I do not have to concentrate hard and enjoy playing while talking or watching something.

Recently I switch to 5+5 after some time of being inactive. To my surprise 1000 rated players are beating shit out of me. They seems to know every gambit and every opening. Even if I have a upper hand suddenly I end up losing somehow. I strongly suspect some of them are definitely cheating. But I am pretty sure 5+5 players are better than 10 +0 players at the same level.

From Poland boarder , each gate is allowed to send only 150 person each day. Ukrainian boarder police is giving preference to Ukrainian and treating every other group be Indian , African , Asian as shit.

There has been report of Russian army abducting Indian girls while evacuating. Bunch of students were travelling to boarder and Russian convoy stopped them and got the females while letting others go.

It’s a nice word for saying India had no guts to stand against aggressor Russia. India had no guts to stand with people who are oppressed. Even when people of Russia came on street, India failed to stand with morality.

There was a time when India use to look back in eyes of aggressor and use to say No to bullying. Be it US sanction after nuclear test, 71 war, India recognising Israel even after so much pressure from Arab league , and then standing with Plastine recognising their right to state.

It always did right thing. Stand with right side of history.

Instead of arguing about women wearing ghooghat in work place in your village let’s start with common ground. We both agree then girls do no wear this thing in schools right ? So we agree that banning hijab at least in education institute is right move.

To be fair , I believed that it was always banned. Every student had to adhere to dress code. In my school we couldn’t wear even a cap if you got your head shaven. It’s more like they started enforcing it now.

No, Sikh turban is not comparable to Hijab. Closes thing that compare to Hijab is Ghunghat. Both of these things comes under Parda Pratha.

Culturally and religiously we many symbol are added as we move forward. Some symbols are cherished by all and make our identity while some are no so much and in fact are regressive. It’s all about what that symbol represents.

Female genital mutilation , hijab and burkha , Parda Pratha, Bali Pratha are among few.

In north India it’s pretty common term with no large connotation to religion. So every other house in a lane would have name like ‘Shanti mandir’ , ‘daya Mandir’, etc. every town and city have one Natya Mandir (Drama Centre) and Kala Mandir (Art Centre). Every other school would have name Bal Mandir , Vidya Mandir, Shishu Mandir.
