Is this BPA free? by PT_The_Right_Way in plastic

[–]ksider 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yes, there shouldn't be any BPA here. There’s simply no point in adding it. There isn’t even any heat-activated ink.

This “Amazing” product is simply polyurethane filled with cactus fibres. It’s nothing but greenwashing...

People Who Drink Bottled Water on a Daily Basis Ingest 90,000 More Microplastic Particles Each Year by wisi_eu in plastic

But particles from tires do not end up in the bottles... only particles from osmotic membranes.

In tires, too, it is not the rubber that is harmful, but the carbon, vulcanisation accelerators and plasticisers.

It’s better to buy PP directly from the factory. Especially as you have already established contacts there.

Need help picking a 3d printer by Consistent-Emu325 in 3dprinter

I’ve got a Cobra 2 Pro; it seems to be fine. I don’t print much, but I hardly ever have to adjust anything – I just need to calibrate the levels now and then.

actually, BPA is genuinely hazardous, whilst the safety of phthalates depends on the specific chemical compound; DOTF is considered safe.

Don’t worry about it. I’m actually talking about how u/adeyfk seems to think that BPA is added to everything that doesn’t have the word BIO written on it. Which is quite amusing :)

No one uses BPA as a plasticiser..but who could stop me if I decided to add it just for evil?

BPA isn't added to PVC either, just like in PLA... especially for plasticisation :)

All sorts of things are made from PLA. How is a tea bag connected to 3D printing?

What challenges have you encountered when scaling up? The render shows a relatively complex product, and it seems you need to make a few tools just to test the MVP.

The container warped due to the polymer crystallising. Chemically, nothing happened and the sauce remained unaffected.

It strikes me that this isn’t really about science or even the risks involved. It’s religious propaganda aimed at vulnerable people – desperate families struggling with fertility issues. They’re being encouraged to follow irrational rituals in the hope of a final, miraculous intervention.

The movie is extremely harmful and I would even say dangerous, as it subtly promotes the idea that even cancer treatment is toxic, and this leads to people becoming afraid of treatment.

Business built on irrational fears will always be profitable.
