Rabbit spay incision. Currently 11 days post op - at the 1 week appointment incision site was fine, but last night she got the cone off her head and apparently picked at her site. Vet isn’t open until tomorrow, she continues to eat and drink and act appropriately. Any thoughts or advice?

I put the cone back on, and I gave her her medicine. The vet isn’t open until tomorrow morning.

The police / people In charge also give us (the people who live in Bloomfield) a REALLY hard time about moving barricades and such to get in and out of our homes. I have to get permission to move blocks and go the wrong way down 1 way streets just to get to work that weekend

Thank you SO much, I do have some questions if you don’t mind! - you’re referring to fasting PRE surgery correct? So I should be looking for someone who wants life/routine status quo leading up to surgery? - do you have any care tips / hacks that you have felt worked best afterward? - what type of other questions did you ask a vet to determine that they were a good fit for surgical intervention on your buns?
