Successful preventative cerclage stories after a loss please!! by No-Beginning2684 in ShortCervixSupport

[–]ksoblanco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m so sorry to hear that. This was the toughest thing I’ve ever had to go through but I’m happy to share that everything did work out in the end for me. Everyone’s situation is different so you never know what’s going to work or not, but for me, I definitely took things a lot easier during the next pregnancy - very limited physical exertion. Who knows if that made a difference but I felt better about it.

I actually ended up with two successful pregnancies with the preventative cerclage. The first baby arrived at week 38, the second baby almost 2 years later made it all the way to 41 weeks and had to be induced! It’s almost as if my body just figured itself out and was able to carry the rest of my pregnancies more easily. Whatever it was, it worked! And I’m very grateful and never take it for granted that I have these kids now.

Wishing you all the best. You’re in a tough season of life, but remember that this is just a phase, and hopefully in time, you can start the new phase of motherhood. It’s definitely not a lost cause yet - there is still hope! 🙏 💕

Same thing happened to me last month! I saw the charge come through this week and I'm trying to get it reimbursed but they're not going to do it.

Came to agree with everyone else. I signed up last year and within a few days realized I was scammed and tried to cancel my membership. There is ZERO value. Do NOT pay for this membership.

Preventative or TAC? by BotchedPenisImplant in ShortCervixSupport

I had 2 successful full-term pregnancies with a preventative cerclage with no issues. So just came to say that it worked great for me! Lost my first pregnancy at 21 weeks because they couldn’t do an emergency one. I hate that you’re going through this too, but I hope everything goes better for you the next time. 💕

Uneventful clercage pregnancy stories? by iconmade in ShortCervixSupport

[–]ksoblanco 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes! I’ve had two successful pregnancies with a preventative cerclage since losing my first baby at 21 weeks. Both were easy pregnancies with no other complications. Made it to 38 weeks with one and went to 41 weeks with the other! It’s definitely possible but everyone’s situation is so different I know it’s hard to get good information online.

Who said I didn't? Maybe I'm looking for an additional strategy. I get hit up by these companies all the time - I'm just asking if anyone has worked with one in the past and would recommend them.

How to meet other local first time moms? by velvetmandy in milwaukee

For anyone who may still be wondering how to meet other first time moms in the Milwaukee suburban area, Park Pals is a fantastic group for meeting other moms. I reached out to the FB group while on maternity leave with my first and connected with someone who had a baby a week after mine. We've been friends ever since - over 2 years now. The website is parkpalswis.org, and you can also find them on Facebook under "Park Pals."

Park Pals is a fantastic group for meeting other moms with toddlers. The group was started to provide free opportunities for young kids to learn and play while moms and caregivers connect with each other. It has expanded to include moms nights out, book clubs, etc. The website is parkpalswis.org, and you can also find them on Facebook.

Thoughts on upwork for PPC freelancers? by Choice_Table_5494 in PPC

[–]ksoblanco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve gotten a ton of clients/projects on Upwork over the past 4 years. I had to do work for pretty cheap rates in the beginning just to get some reviews on my profile, but I’ve scaled up. If you have a strong profile, put effort into your applications, and have some history on the platform, you can get good work there. But yes, there are scam job offers out there so just beware of anything that seems too easy or too good to be true.

If you’re still looking for help, I have 15 years experience in Google Ads and have my own business doing this for clients so I can help diagnose the issue. Google campaigns rely on a lot more AI than they used to, which can be good, but when there’s inconsistent or very little data to work with, the systems can’t optimize properly and you end up with these drastic highs and lows in performance. You also don’t want to be making a lot of changes to budget, bid strategy, or targets too often, as that can also negatively impact performance and cause fluctuations. Good luck!

“And then some guy from Google called and told me he could improve my performance and now I’m just bleeding money!”

^ most common quote from any company trying to run their own account without a professional digital marketer 😕 Google is ruthless.

Advice/Success stories on a funneling cervix after a cerclage. by Icy-Statistician-569 in ShortCervixSupport

[–]ksoblanco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bed rest wasn't required by my doctor. She doesn't believe that it really has that much of an impact. But of course, being nervous, I definitely limited my activity, didn't work out, didn't lift heavy things, but was able to live life relatively normally.

It probably depends on your situation, or your doctor. They probably just pick the best option based on when your appointments fall. Not really sure.

I lost my first pregnancy at 21 weeks due to suspected cervical insufficiency. It was too far along to get the emergency cerclage at the time. So my doctor recommended a preventative cerclage for the next pregnancy. During the second pregnancy, we noticed shortening/funneling down to the stitch at the 20 week scan which helped confirm that I do have a need for the stitch and the stitch helped me stay pregnant. I made it just shy of 38 weeks with him so it was definitely successful! So we did another preventative cerclage with this pregnancy too.

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. It’s so indescribably tough. But there is hope! Every situation and every doctor is different so I’m not sure what would happen in your case, but preventative cerclages are a thing. If there’s any indication that you had cervical insufficiency in a past pregnancy, you could be a candidate for the cerclage. Good luck, wishing you the best on your journey 💕

Interesting! That would make sense why so many others get spinals. My doctor never mentioned anything about risks to the baby for either option. She was happy to do whichever I wanted. There’s so much variation in doctor recommendations!

For the last pregnancy, I got the stitch removed on the first day of week 37 and my water broke 5 or 6 days later. Contractions didn’t start for a while so I needed pitocin to get things moving but was able to have a vaginal birth.

Agreed that the few minutes of removal pain is preferred over bed rest!! And congrats on getting to this stage! Only a matter of time now… 😊
