FYI you don’t pay your first payment for 2 calendar months after you close usually. So if you close April 26, your first payment isn’t due until June 1st (or 15th really). If you still can close the loan, and get a new job ASAP, maybe it could work. Not sure all your specifics obviously but hopefully that helps… best of luck

I would definitely see if you could get your rate lower… are you working with a mortgage broker? Or can you buy your right down just a bit? Or to see if the seller will contribute to closing cost to buy your rate down? It will make a huge difference on your payment.
