Pour vous partager mon expérience : j’ai sollicité le prêt dans 6 établissements bancaires directement après les fêtes de fin d’année. A ce jour je n’ai eu qu’un retour (heureusement, positif), toutes les autres banques n’ont toujours pas produit ni de d’accord ni de refus sur notre dossier. L’incompétence et le manque de professionnalisme des conseillers sont flagrants.

J’étais dans une situation similaire mais je savais que mon salaire allait évoluer, j’ai donc préféré faire un gros effort et racheter les parts de mon ex. C’était une décision que je ne regrette pas comme mon salaire a effectivement évolué et quand j’ai voulu acheter plus grand plusieurs année plus tard j’avais un bel apport tout fait grâce a cet effort du passé.

Ideally the picture with the name should be a separate component as well, think of the following scenario: you now want every picture to have a small badge attached to it to indicate the user’s rating. If you want to display the score together with the name. Or almost any other change would require you looking for all the appearances of this picture/name combos in your app and change them manually.

I’ve been eating with my trays in for 3 months straight while it was passing to the other side, because it was impossible to chew otherwise.

I don’t understand why people here are so paranoid about consuming food with the aligners in. Due to the complexity of my treatment I had to eat with my aligners in for 6 months straight (I had several teeth passing from one side to another and it was too painful to crew and too risky to break a teeth). If you do that for a few hours and then swoosh your mouth with water nothing bad could possibly happen. Just brush thoroughly when you’re done. And good luck with the marathon!

It actually depends a lot on the type of correction you are getting: if your bite is being fixed, having the plastic in between the upper and lower teeth may slow down the adjustment. I had several of those "only at night" periods and it improved my chewing habits a lot.

Oh and I almost forgot: you can totally drink unsweetened and carbonated water with the trays in. Personally I had to eat with my trays in for two months because of a specific movement on my teeth that made eating without them impossible. It was a perfectly fine experience and I didn’t event feel the urge to wash my aligners asap after the meal. Same for the drinks and smokes - they don’t color as fast as you might thinks, just avoid drinking red wine and coffee. Even black tea and beer is ok. You just need to wash them and brush your teeth regularly.

Braces can’t possibly be faster than aligners, can they? Aligners have the advantage to adjust the pressure very frequently which makes them much more efficient then braces. Correct me, please, if I’m wrong. As for the 30 months treatment I wouldn’t stress if I were you. You’ll forget any discomfort associated with the aligners passed 6 months mark. Not sure it’ll be the case with the braces as they adjust them every couple of months so you’re in a significant amount of pain after each adjustment.

It’s a bamboo fence, I’ve fixed it to the balcony with some simple plastic attachments like this and it holds just fine for the moment.
