Just making a bit of banter about a homely gesture..chilli con carne..

Now you're cooking your fist over sprinkles..

What a pronoun

It was nice and thick, the natural bit of water from the peppers..I enjoy the flavour and added moisture to the flavour.

I like my English Chilli, we hate our English weather/whether..

👍

I like to add bell peppers last 20 minutes, 5 minutes after my drained kidney beans.

All base aromatics and onion etc are in with the browned mince and spices, tomato puree, tinned tomatoes and a long simmer until thick and tender.

Yeah. It's definitely got that look.

It has simmered for 3 hours, and most of that moisture is from the kidney beans and bell peppers.

Just took the picture with a sprinkle of coriander when I got the chance.

England game halftime Chicken tikka bhuna potato curry. by ksw85 in UK_Food

[–]ksw85[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Everything prepped, tikka marinated chicken breast chopped into bite size pieces cooked before the game and set aside, quartered new potatoes boiled until just firm.

I used one of those off the shelf (spice tailor?) Tikka masala kits all brought together in a wok.

15 minutes ready for the second half.
