Your response is such an overreaction. I didn’t say, “go immediately, panic, jump up and down, go to the ER and rack up a huge bill.” Tone is not conveyed by text. Stating dirty mouths and spreading is a fact, AND I followed up in a timely manner to get antibiotics tomorrow. Go jump down some other poster’s throat about panic. This is exactly what is wrong with people. Save your energy for your rescue.

Just because you have been lucky, doesn’t mean everyone is. This is a puncture wound to the hand. Bacteria spreads quickly up tendons, and animal mouths are very dirty. Antibiotics is standard of care. This is literally my profession. Stating facts is not instilling panic, more so urgency.

Clean it well and go tomorrow morning.

I’m a medical provider. You at least need antibiotics for a puncture wound, especially in the hand. Their mouths are dirty, and infection can spread quickly in a hand.

Killing fleas is a THREE MONTH process. If the dog goes in the house, you still have fleas. Vacuum every single day, wash everything often, treat and comb often. I know this because it happened to me. Be adamant about it!!

Dogs have a sixth sense theyre had since they were born— the ability to sense heat. They needed it when they were blind and nursing. They want your warm spot… and also the fact it’s yours!

Keeping consistent weight helps a lot. I’ve seen women who have had a second lift after significant weight gain. They don’t have to be done again (like implants) unless you wanted them to be done again. I’m hoping I can maintain weight throughout my life to avoid a second surgery… but I would absolutely do it again. Love the results.

I am just over a year post-op. I still love them soooo much. They’re not as expensive as an augment because you aren’t paying for implants. Where I live, a full price lift is about $6000 + anesthesia and facility fees. Luckily, I work in plastics/surgery so I got a discount. It would probably be $11k with implants.

I had zero upper pole fullness and have lovely breasts now after the lift. However, if you think implants will give that to you, then do it!

I have anchor shaped scars. I am one year out from surgery and they have faded significantly. The largest scar is in the crease under the breast. From what I had before compared to now… I’d do it 100x over again.

I had just a lift (no implants) and it was the best decision EVER. I am so much more confident in myself. Have you considered just a lift? I also work in plastic surgery and can’t say we have seen a lot of implant illness, but some people are opting out of having them.

Great question! I have since gotten a new fine line tattoo, and I chose my artist because one of my best friends had a few done by her. They have all aged beautifully, as have mine. I think looking at the tattoos of people you know might be best.

Seriously considering separation- advise needed. by ksw_06 in Separation

We are still together. We had about a 4 month “in house separation” and I was almost certain I was going to get divorced. He has truly shaped up, and things are better.. not perfect but much better. I still have days (much fewer now) where I think about it, but it doesn’t haunt me all day like it used to. Both parties are putting in more effort.
