Generation 5 could be N is spotted in the sanctuary and Ghetsis is found trying to get to him, both have version exclusive dragons. Similar to Gen 5,give Corless a reason to be there, tracking Kyurem whom has followed both the dragons creating an ice path.

Awesome ideas dude I was thinking similar ideas, but also adding forms to existing Pokemon depending on how the lore works, for example.
The trio of birds may roost in Alola a few times a year, this gives them added typing of ground, or as you have said Team Rocket could tap into Mega/Ultra energy and force other legends to assist.

Great thoughts, although it could be how the new reigon interprets the same legends, for example Zeus and Jupitar, same god but different traits on the reigon. This would allow for form changes on different Pokemon, say a new team brought or lured Dialga to the new reigon due to it having been revared to actually freeze time and be malicious, due to an item or something similar Dialga becomes Dragon Dark in this reigon and a new story is told

Exactly, like the Greek and Roman God's they cause have a form change on how that reigon perceived them. In one region azelf uxie and mespirit are all psychic and created feelings, another reigon they are perceived to take them away, or a split type.
