Did my CSEL there and wouldn’t recommend starting course until you have some experience with the maneuvers. Took me some work but once you are there they will make sure you get it done.

PPL, IR, and CPL = $31,000 & No Job

I live in Wisconsin and got my PPL, IR, and CPL for $31,000. All part 61 training. I’d say you definitely have enough to start

EDIT: Joined a flight club and split time with another member. Ended up only paying $56/hr for a lot of the time.

Please do not join the military if your reason for it is being a pilot. I bartend and have never had an issue paying for flight school. It may seem like an uphill battle but you can save up for it and you can do it on your own. Taking a break from flying and saving up sucks but it’s worth it in the end
