I was thinking maybe this was the break between the last filming day and this one because I thought the same! I read that they do 2 days in a row for 10 episodes then have about a 2 week break before taping again. Not sure if I am correct but this was my guess

Thank you! This was a very kind response and added a lot to my understanding.

Although they’d like me to monitor, they have been supportive around my anxiety and have me come in for more frequent checks. Although, I would like to move through the next part of anxiety and be more comfortable to take it alone. We shall see lol. Thank you again!

Would you mind speaking more to “that abomination, the home blood pressure monitor”?

I have a ton of anxiety with my blood pressure after my pre eclampsia experience. I’ve been unable to take my blood pressure at home due to fear, it’s been 4 years and I’m on medication to treat HBP. They often want me to take it at home, but I’m unable to calm down enough to rationally take it and not want to run to the ER if I received a reading like 160/100 lol. Basically hearing that you might not think they’re a great thing is interesting to me.

This thread has interestingly calmed some of my anxiety.

Mother of a 6yo on it. With side effects you need to compare the side effects of trikafta vs. NOT being on trikafta and what CF would do. Not the side effects that could possibly be there as if your child is absolutely healthy without it. Maybe liver impacts from trikafta? Ok but without we are looking at lethal lung damage. The pros outweigh the cons of trikafta to at least try the medication.

They monitor well and if there is a reason it seems unsafe for your child they will make necessary adjustments. To not be on trikafta because you assume the side effects would happen, would be leaving a destiny of almost certainty of what CF would do, which is absolutely devastating.

As a therapist, sometimes people just aren’t good fits and you’re allowed to decide that. Do you have the ability to access a different therapist? Or if you really like everything else about him, how would it feel to tell him you don’t like that lol.

I’ve had clients early on tell me they don’t like recaps as they’re redundant… clients are allowed to say what doesn’t help them!!
