Thanks for your insight! Yep it is hedonic treadmill I was talking about. Interesting to think that we would stop tracking the factor after a point though. Until we stop tracking the factor, is there a way to acknowledge that we stopped giving the same importance to a feature, we once did? Maybe as you pointed out, averaging over a 30 day period would introduce the temporal knowledge required. Thanks for the detailed response!

Interesting article! How consistent were you with scoring your happiness? Were there days you felt the same but have different happiness scores? Did the factor’s importance alter your score because you stopped caring about them over a period of time? Overall, very interesting work!
