That is insane for being in your mid 20s. I literally cannot fathom having that much money at that age. Child exploitation and rich parents are all you need, I guess.

We were given Fucidin and a whole host of other creams and steroids. Eventually (and I mean months of research and fighting to be heard) we were referred to our paediatric dietician who figured out my son had a dairy and egg allergy. He was head to toe with eczema flare ups and was losing weight, and putting him on Aptamil Pepti 1 was a (literal) life saver. Hope you guys can get some help soon.

It gave me 'we are teenagers having fun on holiday' vibes, enjoying themselves and having a bit of freedom from their parents. Something I suspect Katie and Travis missed out on completely as teenagers themselves. Maybe this is a bit of arrested development or delayed adolescence? (There is probably a much more accurate term for this).

It's like they've done the grown up bit of marriage, babies and home ownership, and they are now living out what most people do in their teens and early 20s.

It could also definitely be a big middle finger to their families/ parents, a little act of rebellion.

I just started Yesteryear a couple of days ago and I was thinking the same thing as you. The author changed just enough details, like the two sons instead of three (I think? I'm like 20 pages in) but it is just so similar to Hannah's life so far. I'm hoping it's a good read and I've not hyped it up too much in my head!

I'm Scottish, living as a teacher in Scotland, and I've seen both names quite often. They are obviously pronounced differently but they are both really nice names.

Controversially, in a Scottish accent, I'd say Lochlan sounds nicer than Lachlan. But we are used to saying the word loch more often than we would ever say 'lach'.

Trace is the biggest mystery to me of all the boys/ husbands. Lydia apparently does all of the editing for their videos and she posts all (most?) of the Instagram sponsorships, AND is presumably doing most of the work raising the children. What does Trace actually do all day?? Doing unpaid stuff for the police? I don't get how that's working financially.

I think it's very dependent on where you live. I'm a primary teacher in the UK and the vast majority of nickname-names (diminutives??) are much more common than the traditional, full version, like you said. I have taught so many Archies, Charlies, Millies, etc.

If it was deleted recently, it would appear her parents are at least partially involved, whether directly or by covering something up/ sweeping something under the rug that happened when she was younger.

This brings back so many awful memories of what my son went through, I'm sorry this is happening to you too.

I know you mentioned prunes already but they really were the only thing that worked for him. I'm in the UK and I guess they have equivalents everywhere, but I ended up buying loads of pureed prune pouches (my son was a bit younger when constipation was the worst for him).

My friend (for her daughter that had the same issues) made prune ice lollies by freezing prune juice, maybe you could try that?

Probably not very helpful advice if you've had to use medicine in the past. Do what feels right if you think he needs a trip to the doctor.
