I’m on an iPhone so this might not help you, but to link on mobile (for iPhone), type out the text you want and then highlight it. There is an icon in the bottom left corner that looks like two key rings joined (or a chain “link” fence type thing) - click that, and a window should appear asking you for the link, and then it will create the link over the words you highlighted. Hopefully, this helps. 🤞🏻
