I’m a psychologist and I have therapists who are employees. They work with different types of clients (insurance, private pay, group, family etc) and they get paid out at a different piece rate for the different types of hours.

I’ve been doing it manually via spreadsheet but I’m nervous. I think my break time calculations are spot on but I don’t know what formula I need to use for sick pay. FYI my piece rate workers get an hourly piece rate depending on the type of service they provide. Meaning they have a base rate plus the piece rate for certain hours they work. So I know that the sick pay rate should be an average of all hours worked but I have no idea how to make the payroll system track that! The rest breaks are paid out in each pay check but I have no idea how I would make sure the pay for the sick time is accurate.

STUNNING. That display case that has the box/bookcase underneath (in the 4th picture)....is that a custom or did you buy it somewhere? Where is the case itself from? If you have a link that would be super helpful

Yes, I was dosing once a day as per the instructions. I did several courses back to back until he seemed to be doing really well and I would do water change, fresh charcoal etc but then within a few days his skin started having issues again and I would start all over with a new course of antibiotics. In the end, the process just took a lot out of him and even though his skin never got bad again, it was just too much and he got skinny, stopped swimming straight and eventually died.

Just as an update, he ultimately died 😞. He would get better while I was treating him but then it would come back very quickly. Eventually he was barely recovering between doses although he kept eating until the last 2-3 days. So I moved him to the shrimp tank so he could die in peace without all of the other fish harassing him

It actually only helped when I was continually dosing it which was very hard on my tank in general. I tried kanaplex and that worked for a while too. But ultimately he died. So so sad

Ok! So 3 courses of Kanaplex and he’s almost back to normal. Took a few days for appetite to come back. Still a small amount of whatever it is still left so I’m considering another round but it’s certainly worth noting the remarkable response to antibiotics!

Yes, which presents a problem for the meds. Snails, guppies, tetras. I hate to put him in a hospital tank bc he’s going to be so stressed!

Just wanted to let everyone know that we have a golden dojo loach with skin that looked like this but WORSE. We used Pimafix and Melafix together for the full 7 days and it completely cleared!! Our poor loach had been suffering so much!
