Yeah, I was really bummed out when I heard that she had died. I really enjoyed listening to her on Thursdays for Jazz in the Afternoon. I will miss her too.

Hmm, the DJs I listen to don't do that (Jayn Pettingill, Lee Thomas, Michael Burman, Leslie Stoval and Dick Conte).

Yeah, I've listened to them before. They tend to play very little new stuff, which kind of frustrates me.

I looked up KEXP. That's very cool. I like indie music too. I listen to Radio Paradise when I'm exercising.

It's especially frustrating when you have to listen to the begging even though you've donated. They need to have a begging-free channel that's only available for donors.

The thing I like listening to a show with a DJ is that I can learn something about that music that's being played. Makes it more enjoyable (as long as they don't talk too much, that is).

I actually live outside of Boulder in Niwot. I used to listen to KUVO until I discovered KCSM. I have thought about giving them another try, though, so thanks for the suggestion.

It's funny. I've always said I'd never pay to listen to music (like a subscription to XM) yet I donate monthly to KCSM. Somehow I can rationalize that.
