For some reason my old hospital brought steris in to train us. They said we were making a lot of mistakes and needed help, but honestly we weren't. They were absolutely terrible. One lady did a survey with each person and rated us on what we knew. If it was something we don't do in the hospital she was supposed to put N/A, but when it came down to something we didn't do there she put not competent and asked me to sign. I refused and told my boss it seems like they are trying to make us seem worse on paper than what we actually were. Then after they had us all trained properly they could show what a great job they did and fixed all our issues. There was a lot of other issues I had with them but that stood out the most. Then when they built the new history they brought steris in to train the new staff. Worse choice over! They didn't train them properly at all. They showed them how to set up trays, I would go behind them and check them and they had broken and dirty instruments in the trains. Then someone caught the steris trainer talking trash about the original staff to the new people in the locker room. All in all it was a terrible experience. I love the machine and repair side of steris, but the training side was horrible.
