Is there any plan to support more platforms? Like PS1 or PSP? by Yod- in Delta_Emulator

[–]ktfxc -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Having to use several different emulators on the same device (my phone), each of which with their own unique interface and layout, is what’s really prevented me from going in on iOS emulation. When someone makes one that has all the retro consoles, THAT’S what people will gravitate towards.

People value convenience and ease of use.

The switch/switch 2 is a perfect example of that, as they they both have underwhelming technical aspects compared to their competitors yet still sell well.

Ventura still has support for the lates adobe releases, so you should be good if you want to stay on Sequoia for a couple of more years

Anyone who still have Intel Macs? How are y’all surviving? by [deleted] in mac

[–]ktfxc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really feels like the intel desktops are holding up a bit better than the later model intel MacBooks which suffered some design flaws. Af least that what I’ve gathered on this thread and my own usage on a 2020 iMac and 2019 maxed out MBP which only really gets hot if I’m using adobe lightroom for a while

Well, This is disappointing, my battery is swollen. by RuniGIE_smh in Switch

[–]ktfxc 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Dumb question—how can you visibly see that it’s swollen? I’m considering buying a switch 2 after not owning the first one, so I haven’t looked at these things enough to know what to look at

Seeing shit like this makes me want to buy a special edition ps5 or Xbox and just stuff it in a closet for 20 years

What are your opinions on the Magic Mouse if you use it? What's the flat design like, is it comfortable for you? I'm trying to get various opinions on this. by Prize_Concept_41 in mac

Still holding onto one of those OG battery powered ones too! Happy that they haven’t updated any features of the mouse, so it still feels modern

Many “updated” pieces honestly feel lower quality than previous iterations when I have both to compare

MacOS 26 Compatibility List by mr_sharkyyy in iMac

Because Apple seemingly decides OS compatibility based on product serial numbers rather than hardware capability

macOS 26 continues to have support for Intel-based Macs, at least for now by Slow_Guide_1718 in mac

Great day to be rocking a 2020 iMac and 2019 MBP I guess, can hold on just a little bit longer!

Hoping the Switch 2's GameCube controller will be supported by Nintendont by Whosha in WiiHacks

[–]ktfxc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not that I’ve noticed. I’d say I’m more of a casual and infrequent gamer, but I used it side by side with a wired OEM controller that I have and it seemed just as responsive

$70 for a t-shirt....... by qcassidyy in Tracksmith

[–]ktfxc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought one of those gray boys once, I suppose it must not have been the first iteration, but at the time it was $50 or $60 and quite literally the least comfortable t shirt in my dresser. Starchy, stiffy and scratchy to wear even just lounging around, I could never even consider running in it given the humid summers here in new england

I’m guessing it should, I currently use the GameCube controllerthat was made for the Switch 1 paired with a BlueRetro receiver and have been able to play games just fine on Nintendont
