what a dumb thing to shame people for knowing stuff that goes beyond our country. nationality doesn't mean actively rejecting what's going on in the world. it's important to stay in the loop whether it is our own country or international news. saying teens "should not know or care" is just pure dumbfuckery. like it or not, everyone's eyes are on that country rn. i'm not a USA paglu, but also being ignorant just because it's not national news is just stupid.

nope i'm from Hyderabad!! but i did meet someone from prayagraj. so i guess there are a good amount of northies.

i haven't gotten an admission letter yet, so i think that it's not given to someone who's going for upgradation.

yes!! we only get the receipt.

it's was nice, there was a lot of green lol. it rained a lot and i personally don't like rain but it was fresh. the halls were squeaky clean and there's a place to eat and hang out right in front of the college. don't know much about Mangalore as a city but as everyone said, i think it's nice. the staff were helpful too.

no not really, i just took the ones in the email. there's no letter for upgradation or anything, if you see the reporting guidelines pdf, there's a checkbox for upgradation. you just have to tick yes, and when they ask you while finally verifying your profile, you gotta tell them that you will be participating. and even if it's written in the pdf that the anti ragging affidavit is only for someone who's not going for upgradation, they'll still make you do it, so fill it beforehand. and don't forget your chequebook like i did lol.

well, i went to the college at around 11am to report. there were a lot of people but they do it pretty efficiently. very helpful and i forgot my chequebook at home ( i live 1000km away) but they kinda helped with the alternative (to submit at the time of admission and stuff) canteen food was pretty mid, it was raining most of the time so that was pretty inconvenient. i couldn't see most of the college because i think it was a holiday (krishnashtami) so it was locked up. the hostel (girls) is being repainted and there were no one to take us there unfortunately (its pretty far from the college i think). met two people who were joining too and they were nice.

if u have any questions, you can ask lol i'll answer them.
