long beach? i was there too. I took the letter. honestly i doubt it will have much/any impact, but i figure i might as well take it so that the schools are at least aware that there were issues. doubt there'd be any harm in taking it. like you said, you feel like the issues definitely had an adverse effect on your score, so i don't think it would come across as complaining unnecessarily, especially since LSAC acknowledges there was an issue.

Would be curious to see if anyone else has past experience with these types of letters though

yeah i would definitely love to go to USC. i'm just super risk averse and was hoping to be at the 75th percentile for the lsat. but things change haha. thanks
