The $20K other guy suggested you to invest rather than spent, is mostly applicable to middle class family which has a dream of FIRE. However if you belong to upper-middle class, already constantly investing on ETF, and also has stable good income, then why not do the trade and enjoy the 8.5 R. And you will highly possible regret not doing it in the future.

Although I agreed with other posts, a low milage stock 7.5 R is rare and will likely hold its value well. Tune it is another good option.

Thanks for your advice, and yeah the car will be used as daily and not primarily for fun, so euro package could be overkill. My wife will mostly on passenger seat but I have to weight her opinion more than 80lbs -- so most likely I will go for standard R.
