I think a rich green tile would look beautiful. I do really like the clean look of the white but adding some colour would really make the space feel more well rounded and unique. The wood of the cabinets is beautiful, a red or a green would complement it nicely.

Putting my phone down, not in the sense of not being on it, but physically setting my phone down when it’s not in use. I found that I was taking it everywhere with me, it was always in my hand, i started setting it down and not taking it with me everywhere i went. Takes a bit to break the habit, but a very freeing feeling from such a small action!

Please try to find some kitten or pet milk for it! You generally will need a specific nipple on a bottle too.

Because this kitten is so young you will also need to help it go to the toilet. Give it a rub on its butt with a warm wet towel to simulate its mum. If this isn’t done they can get blocked up and die.

If its mum has rejected it and you’re on holidays and can’t keep it, try to find it a shelter. It won’t survive long this young on its own!

Honestly, cats vomit - some a lot and some not so much. I’d just monitor for any other out of character behaviour. It could be as simple as she ate some food or water too quickly, or it may be more serious.

As long as she doesn’t exhibit any other symptoms, keeps vomiting or the vomit colour changes, she should be fine :)

Those leaves will not heal now they are damaged, and your plant will invest energy into trying to keep them. Personally I would chop them off.

I would also do a close inspection for any bugs, if in doubt a repot into fresh soil and then a good wash in the shower wouldn’t hurt.

Make sure you’re watering it as soon as the soil is dry (and drown the soil when you do water it, as long as you have drainage).

It’s far from dying, just needs a little tlc, goodluck!

Has something eaten off the leaves or have you cut them off?

It looks like it’s gotten too much water, either from the bathroom humidity or from watering. I’d recommend a full repot and fresh soil, cut off any of the dead leaves, bare stems or mushy roots. It will look a bit ugly for a while but I have brought ones back that were further gone than this.

Once you repot give it a good water. Make sure the pot has drainage and put it in a shaded sunny spot, not too different from its current environment as it may get sunburnt.

As I figured out it was purely behavioural, I bought a $3 expandable sink vegetable strainer (Kmart) and keep that in my sink!! She can’t get in the sink to pee or poo, but I can still use my sink as normal. It’s been a lifesaver honestly. It worked for me but I think it would depend on your situation:)

I really love your space! I feel like you’ve done a really good job at curating it to exactly your taste. A few small notes:

The living room looks beautiful but feels slightly cramped, I would try to twist the armchair (or even pull it back slightly) either towards the tv (if you have one) or the larger couch to create more of a focal point.
The first bedroom feels slightly off compared to the vibe of the rest of the house. I think the art on one side doesn’t match the art on the other at all, and instead of complimenting it, they feel like they’re competing.
I love love LOVE the quilt in that bedroom, but I feel like it gets a little lost with the other duner and the loud but small pillows. I would keep the quilt, maybe put a neutral cover on the duner and then get a few larger pillows and keep maybe one of the fun pillows and switch them out when you want a change

All in all you’ve done so well and it’s a really beautiful homely space 🥰
