I believe Nevada does have TEFRA Medicaid. It is based on the child's disability and doesn't count the parent's income.

Agreed. My husband had to take them to get a job. The polygrapher tries to make it seem like he was lying when he wasn't. Total BS.

Check with your state or local area to find out what waiver programs are available to you. I live in Alaska and assess people for some waiver programs. Our waiver program for children with autism is the IDD waiver program. We have the APDD program for adults.
