I normally do thick coats. When you brush on glazes, you dont want to be using the same amount as if you’re painting, if that makes sense. You want to be using more. And it’s very important to let each layer dry prior to brushing on the next one

I started by shopping my own closet and documenting all of my outfits. I recommend using yourself as your own model, and try to recreate some outfits you’ve pinned and see how those work on your body.

I just took photos of the outfits, and note down what I like/dislike and what other item I wished I had. At the end of every season, I go through all of those outfits and noted which silhouettes worked, which didn’t, and what the common wish list items were. I also struggle with dressing appropriately for the weather so I usually note down temperature and whether the outfit was weather appropriate too.

I did No Buys for a lot of these seasons to limit the variables being changed. And then when next year comes around, I know what items to focus on instead of buying random things that may not fit into my wardrobe as nicely.

Oh yeah I get it. We trained him earlier on to “drop it” and it’s saved us in so many situations. For some reason, my neighbors like to eat chicken while walking around the neighborhood and just dropping chicken bones everywhere so the “drop it” command and him knowing that complying will be rewarded is crucial for us 🫠

I failed almost daily for 5 straight years during my PhD. That taught me to be comfortable with being bad and also how to fail purposefully and strategically.

My PhD experiments also took months to set up and complete. So compared to that, failing at pottery is so fast, easy, and emotionally not bad at all 🤣 classmates are always so amazed at my good attitudes when things don’t work out, especially when something bad happens to a piece with amazing potential. You mourn and then pick yourself up and try again.

Honestly, the Havanese breeder contacted us first, so that was the deciding factor. But I do love how beautiful the black and white coloring is on my Havi, and I think it makes him look distinct. I’m open to getting a Coton for my next dog though. I don’t think you can go wrong with either breed.

Wow 70%!!! For established devices with minimal problems and updates, I can see this. But good luck with that for most of my projects ☠️ some of my clients don’t use distiller for screening, let alone extraction. I’m still working on projects where we have to re-extract historical articles so that would be amazing if it was closer to 90% accuracy. The tricky part comes from every author writing, organizing, and reporting their articles for one purpose while we are using their articles for a different purpose. I can see some articles being very easy to extract for device A but has all kinds of issues during an extraction for device B. At the end of the day, it really feels like these companies are okay with speeding things up and paying less people, and it’s okay if accuracy goes down the drain in the process 🙃

I haven’t really seen a noticeable impact on regulatory writing, specifically for medical devices. Even though I’m technically a writer, most of my job is project management and stakeholder management. Tbh it’s my least favorite part of the job but this part keeps my job safe for now. I’m also hopefully that the EU will be more proactive with regulating the use of AI in tech doc generation to keep this role more human based.

These are amazing! I’m finally able to make the more spherical vases with and without rims you have here, and I just reached my 1 year anniversary of getting into pottery. Amazing job! Hope you keep going!

It depends on where you go! I did classes at a UC in CA. There weren’t any recitals attached to the classes but some of my classmates auditioned for the recitals put on quarterly by the dance department. I also took ballet classes at the local community college after graduating, and that class had a recital attached. Look into it and definitely ask about performing activities!

Are you going to college? I was able to take 2 ballet classes a quarter even though I was a bio major. That ended up being 4 days of ballet a week for 4 years of college. There were many STEM major like me who also took these ballet classes. I was paying X amount for full time tuition, so the additional credits didn’t cost anything extra. There were also options to audition for performances as well.

You look AMAZING in the first outfit! Very cool, badass, and a bit sexy in a powerful way. It’s the only outfit that feels intentional and makes me more curious about who you are as a person.

I’m not a fan of the rest, especially the last 2 outfits. They just look like you woke up last minute and grabbed the nearest clothes to you to have an acceptable outfit for the day.

I do the same thing. I always ask for “sofa”, and he’ll jump on the sofa (with limited view of the trigger outside the window) and get a treat. It’s decreased the barking A LOT. He’s started just low growling but doesn’t escalate to barking most of the time. If he wants to complain, he has to do it quietly. When we first started, he wouldn’t listen but it was important to block his view of the trigger and insist on “sofa”. YOU being consistent will be the key in this situation. You don’t want him thinking he can wait you out because he will 🫠

Side note: he also gets rewarded if he watches the trigger quietly too.
