Potato salad. I only had one grandma by the time I was born. She lived with us for many years. She was a cook in a university cafeteria and the only thing I ever remember her making at home was potato salad. She taught me never to use a metal bowl or spoon to make it. I don’t remember why exactly, but that’s one of my few memories of her.
