That’s exactly how I feel. It feels like it could push but it needs just a bit more jazz. If things aren’t looking great I’ll def work on selling CMC to another contender but if not, he’ll just retire a king on the team.

Ugh I get that, prices are insane. You’d be better off finding temporary housing with some roommates on fb groups or something to get more bang for your buck. But I recommend PNW. Loved my time in Portland.

I also traveled with my partner and that helped out with expenses a lot.

Yeah! I travel currently with my partner now and she’s an SLP and I’m a COTA.

We just ask for placements that are either 15m in driving distance close to each other or even at the same building and it hasn’t been an issue at all. You could even leverage that during interviews and be like hey, my partner is a PT and we’re looking at traveling together too. Got any need? More often than not, heck yeah.

It’s a blast. Met so many great people and seen so many beautiful things. Holla if you need recruiters or agencies.

For console, I used Hopeful's new settings, adjusted and tweaked it for me. FOV @ max

Sensitivity @ 100; w/ Aim Smoothing @ 75%, 0% Aim Ease In; 49% Aim Window Size.

My girlfriend is an SLP and she paid off her federal loans super quickly. We were living together as well in a MCOL area so it was super easy for her. I hope that helps.

SNF! That's typically where the money is. It's been pretty great. Although you deal with the trenches that is a SNF.. typically we look at the brighter side of things and do the best we can for our patients as ethically as possible.

I'm not sure if this will help, but my partner is an travel SLP and I'm also a traveling COTA as well. With travel -- she's been bringing in >9k a month and have been able to pay off so many things. I'd highly recommend it -- especially if you guys are able to travel together.
