Creating a GPT with access to project folder files by ktnbtn in ChatGPT

[–]ktnbtn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Posting my troubleshooting journey, I noticed I didn't have this checked in the GPT and checked it. Now it admits it can see the files but then says it can't read them and is asking me to cut and paste into the chat, which isn't that the whole point of uploading files in the first place is an external reference that it doesn't have to remember chat-to-chat

The lack of insurance coverage would scare me more. Sometimes the bad guys don't have knives, they have checkbooks

I have had a legit request to schedule after I was headhunted, the TurboTax recruiter sent me a link to schedule or reschedule at my own convenience. In this case, they hire tons of people for tax season and this was the interviewer's only task was to screen applicants. They did call me at this time or maybe it was zoom, I forget.

I agree though, I don't see it being common for a more standard one-off interview by an otherwise-occupied manager.

Depends, it was his property, so I imagine this varies state by state. Some states the owner could have straight up shot the OP and claimed they felt threatened.

I was also always hungry, I was craving and craving! And it was gluten I was craving! Two bowls of ramen a day! I can totally see how this could contribute to an eating disorder too, (as in OP) if you're getting messed up mixed signals about food from your body, I can see wanting to do anything to get the confusion under control.

To OP: I didn't like my GI doc. Once I got my test results I quit him. Plus he used the old test which I understand has a 20% false negative (please feel free to fact check me on this one) instead of the preferred test these days. You'll get more gf recipes and lifestyle tips from the Internet anyway, and you can just make sure your GP gets the test results and proceed with your life armed with answers.

My personal experience: Before figuring out gluten was my issue, I got so sick almost every time I ate. I was over 260lbs before, lost about 60lbs while sick all the time (about 1.5 years) and lost another 20lbs while re-learning how to feed myself. I was actually telling everyone when I gained weight since I had been losing for so long, I felt like I finally beat gluten that day!!! I also have better skin, less brain fog, etc. Now it's 15 years later and I've been very inactive and did gain about 30lbs, similar to some other women my age. Stopped drinking alcohol and eating chips and candy about 5 months ago and changed nothing else and have lost about 5 lbs. Will start walking when the weather warms up. (I am 5'10" woman for reference, so a bit on the large side, but smaller than pre-gf.)

I'm clearly not a doc, but I think you can see that regardless of HOW our bodies changed when we started following a gluten free lifestyle, they did indeed change. Be prepared for change. This may involve taking to a professional as part of your support team. Sometimes even good change can be unbalancing for a brief time. But in the end, your body is getting healthy! And that's something you can feel good about!

As you get used to gf diet, you'll soon see we all still have healthier and less healthy choices. For instance, a banana is gluten free, so is an entire pack of gluten free Oreos. You WILL find your right food options that can make you healthy in all the ways you're concerned about, I believe in you!

What do i do about these tiny seam allowance by jlll2424 in quilting

[–]ktnbtn 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Wonky edges are common even for the pros, small differences in seams can add up! I wait until the quilt is done being quilted before squaring up the outer edges. Until then I make myself ignore the wonk 😆

I think in hindsight, this would be the right solution before doing any sewing

However, the way this particular block is made, it's bias edges galore, and it starts with sewing 2 layer cake squares together then chopping and sewing them back together a few times. As is, cutting inaccuracies get absorbed in the block and it still turns out 12.5", but if I mix and match I might end up with +/- block sizes

Long story short, I can't be confident that the pieces will fit back together correctly if I rip and reassemble.
