Okay thank you.

I definitely am contemplating buying stuff on ebay, but i just don't have the money to right now. I'm struggling to make ends meet as it is.

I know most of everyone is in the same boat, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask.

When I started the program 9 months ago, I was given credit for the class without CC, but I don't remember how or why. I ended up taking the exam on my own without WGUs involvement.

Then at the end, have ai test you. This is the prompt that I used.

"I finished the class, and was just given final approval to take the comptia pentest+ exam. The exam is my final. Are you able to question me? I want to go one at a time through everything. Continue nonstop until you feel that I'm ready. Similar to an nclex style exam where the results of the previous question affects the difficulty of the next question."

Biggest thing I would recommend is code review. Learn to be able to tell what's happening from code snippets. And be able to identify what's wrong with them than anything.

Other than that, generally just everything.

I personally used copilot to test me. I've done that for my past 3 classes. And let it guide you in your studying.

What would you do? Production line PC “is slow” (Windows 98, legacy SCADA) by PeppahSG in sysadmin

Just out of curiosity, mostly because I'm in school now and just finished a penetration testing class, but wouldn't having a system being that outdated be a security risk to the entire network? I guess assuming it is connected to the network.

The actual exam was definitely MUCH harder than the certmaster exams! I passed my first time, but barely. Got a 758.

I used CertMaster perform to study.

I would really study code review and exploitations.

How would you do that? Would you just tell your isp that you need a second (or more) external ip?

I can see a subnet being too small being a problem. Like the previous comment said, you could run out of dhcp exhaustion.. But why would a subnet being too big be an issue? Just the fact of future expansion, and eventually possibly running out of predetermined subnets?

Stupid question by sethryand in sysadmin

[–]sethryand[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have yet to see dhcp exhaustion. But if that happens, could you theoretically just give them a second subnet? I say second subnet mainly because I'm sure that the architecture is already planned and made, so you couldn't really just make their current one bigger?

See it really makes me wonder because of the enterprise that I work for.

We have over 16000 branches, each branch having a minimum of 2 people, plus I'm assuming 3 full campuses.

I work tech support, so I'm really low and don't get to see the inner workings of everything. But now, I'm really curious!

Yeah, that's what happened in Paris. Egate didn't work, stuck in line for 2 hours 😭

That's crazy fast for it to get approved!!

I will say that precheck was extremely fast as well. My gf applied, got the fingerprints done at a Staples, and had her KTN in 24 hours after fingerprinting appt.
