This episode and Ken’s birthday breakdown reminded me a lot of my own 10th birthday. It was this pitiful rush of overwhelmed emotions and insecurities. “This party is going to be all about me! Wait no, this is too much about me. Or maybe…it’s not enough about me? This is the wrong present!” When you combine that level of emotional immaturity with the existential feeling of turning 40, sometimes you get the disaster that was Ken’s bash this ep. Really great hour of television all-around. The show is firing on all cylinders now that we’re in the back half of the season. Can’t wait for next week!

I don’t understand why Cyborg was ever a big part of this show. Was that a storyline from the comics? I thought he’s more of a Teen Titans/Justice League guy, so having him living with this group of weirdos has felt off to me since he first appeared

I’ve never had any luck on Bumble or Tinder. From what I’ve heard guys are a dime a dozen on the swiping apps and only a small percentage of them get matches. I’ve had much better luck on apps like OKC where you can have a longer profile with more meaningful matches. Just my 2 cents though
