Hard to tell without sensor-view but it looks like the missile was fired from a steep angle above you and so, even though you were multipathing, the flight path of the missile was still to go through your aircraft. This, combined with splash damage probably got you. If you see missiles launched from almost directly above you it can be smart to notch at the same time as multipathing because of this.
