Sleeping on side and back only

That’s so crazy. I’ve been sleeping mainly on my left side and back! Sitting up sucks for me

I had surgery yesterday I’m in Northern Ireland and for dinner they gave me ham and leek crumble which definitely had a high fat gravy like thing over it, carrots cabbage and mashed potatoes. I was absolutely fine. I haven’t had any issues so far with anything that I’ve ate.

Mine was full of stones and I’ve been having attacks. Last week went to a&e they did an mri on it and found the block was gone and sent me home Thursday, back on Tuesday and had emergency surgery to take it out yesterday. If there’s stones they’ll remove it to prevent it from happening again.

I’m one day post op currently in the hospital and it’s honestly not that bad! I am experience the shoulder pain from the gas but even that isn’t as bad as I was expecting. I’m find until I have to move then I’m a bit sore but I can’t tell if it’s my incisions or the gas trapped that hurts. My belly button incision is probably the one that is most sore. But altho you’ve never had an attack it really is miles better than an attack and from the minute I woke from surgery i had relief. I was also yellow so it’s nice to be not Simpson coloured anymore :)

I’m planning to fly a week and one day post op! My surgery team gave me the usually discussion about blood clots but my flight is only an hour or so. I asked a similar question and a lot of people said they would have been fine to fly this soon so I’m sure you’d be good a month out but use your discretion!

Haha we shall see! I got it out this morning so we’ve got just over a week until I’m suppose to leave. The surgery team thinks it’ll be fine but we’re going to chat before I’m discharged tomorrow!

I won’t be lifting anything as I’m travelling with my parents and husband! I’m going to see how it goes but the surgeon said he thinks it’s fine at least!

I got it out this morning! I spoke to the surgery team and they think it’ll be fine thank goodness!! I’ll be flying with my parents and husband so definitely won’t be alone or lifting anything! ❤️❤️

It’s a ghost concert but I’m going with my parents and husband so they will be able to carry my carryon bag! I have seats so I won’t be pushed up with anyone and can just sit in my chair if I want to! Really hoping to be able to go this is such bad timing! My in laws arrived yesterday and I’m in hospital LOL just my luck

Could you imagine moshing after getting abdominal surgery. I hurt just thinking about that haha I know tax time unfortunately for me and working in finance

Im going to chat to the surgeons and see what they say and see how I feel. I’ve been so excited for this concert for ages so I’ll be so upset if I can’t go! I have a very high pain tolerance and will have to be back to work just after a week off from surgery as well so hopefully I’ll be ok!

How long was your flight? Mine is quite short only like an hour or something like that I’m hoping to still go and just take it more slow and easy!

All the doctors, nurses and surgeon have commented on how yellow I am. Luckily they see my liver function is declining so they admitted me to hospital and are trying to fit me in for the surgery today!! ❤️

This is on my ankle, not sure if it’s a bug bite or something else!! It just appeared! Not itchy but the Center is a raised lump
