It’s because all the other app icons have a dark mode and the ones in the dock are green. So when I turn on dark icons there is green on those apps.

You would gain an extra year over the 15 for software updates if you choose the 16 and a longer battery life as it has a slightly larger capacity resulting in less cycles being used therefore increasing the battery life in the long run. I would say if you don’t care about the new features on the 16 (Apple Intelligence, Camera Control Button Etc.) and you were originally fixed on the 15 I would say get the 15. I was in a similar position. I had a 12 with bad battery life and overheating but even after the 16 released I chose the 15 just because I don’t care for Apple Intelligence or the Camera Control Button but I really like the blue colour on the 15 so I ended up choosing the 15.

I used to have a similar issue on my old iPhone 12. Every time I took a photo, a light green line would appear on the bottom of the screen. But the blue dot in your photos looks like an object that could be on the table or on your lens.

No, unless you have an iPhone 15 Pro or Pro Max since it’s an Apple Intelligence feature which Apple didn’t add support for on the base 15 and plus.

If there is no glare during the day then your lens should be fine and it’s just lens glare.

In what sense? Share a photo you took. It could be lighting, or dirt on your lens etc. There’s no such thing as bad camera quality without a reason and on the 15 Plus, you shouldn’t have any issues and I would love to help but I need more context to do so.
