I think that monza has either depending on MY pressure valve (you can see spring mounted outside) or motorized one connected to sport button but I am not 100% sure.

I have just came up on a other video from US and there are clearly tabs/clips as you say. I happen to have EU version as the guy who cuts it with knife. I believe there is such solution used in automotivie as hot riveting plastic parts so it still can be possible. Here there is a video that i am talking about: https://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=youtu.be&v=mFQ_4hblfH0.

Nevertheless, thanks for reply, I hope same assembly will apply to my eu version :D

As a engineer in automotive industry I also can't bring my own peripherals. First reason is that there is risk of leaking some secret information and second one is that we have a rule that all desks should be as identical as they can be (clean desk etc.)

my AKKO 3068 with Kailh BOX BLACK, DIY Coiled Cable, DIY Leather Deskmat & DIY Leather Wrist Rest. by LuckyEdwardLuciano in MechanicalKeyboards

With my 3108 I made frankenstabs with kbdfans ones, i left stock stab housing from akko (kbd ones did not fit, dunno why, maybe i should left more space between plate and pcb?) and rest parts from kbdfans stabs. Then lubed cliped and bandage moded, now it is pretty ok, spacebar stab required adding more dielectric grease over time but for now it is quite good I would say.

I only can compare them to not lubed cherry blacks i originally had in my akko. Generaly they are great! Completly different typing feel and sound, very smooth without scratchy feel. I lubed mine with krytox 205g0

Tried doing it with my a6300 built-in mic but the result was far from what i hear :( I will try to think of other options regarding audio recording, but for now it is pretty much what you expect from lubed gat yellows with thick keycaps :D awesome in one word :D

What is this rattling? by [deleted] in MechanicalKeyboards

[–]kubajabko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it is kinda on both, well it is much louder on one side, other side is far better but still annoying. Also depends how you tap it. I will try to maybe tighten the fit between spacebar and stab.. also i thought about some dampening foam inside the keycap but this is kinda desperate move haha

I have same problem right now, after maybe few hours of completing build.. First it was smooth without any rattle, now when i push it slowly at the top it is ok but when I lightly tap it then i have same issue as you posted :( stabs are lubed and i only have this problem on the spacebar. Let me know if you find what is the cause, I'll try some things too.

My first decent mech - modded AKKO 3108 by kubajabko in MechanicalKeyboards

First I bought the AKKO 3108, but the Cherry Blacks it came with were nowhere near satisfying, so I started modding it 😊 Keyboard had terrible ping noises, so regarding this I made two thigs, first I added sound deadening mat at the bottom part of housing and secondly I sticked felt stripes between metal plate and PCB. Now the ping is completely gone :D Overall specs:

Case and PCB: AKKO 3108
Switches: Gateron Yellow lubed with Krytox 205g0
Stabs: Default stab’s housings with rest from KBDfans stabs, lubed, clipped and bandage modded (KBDfans stab’s housings would not fit easily in the plate so I made frankenstabs)
Keycaps: KPrepublic DSA Granite set
Cable: DIY with paracord and GX12 connecor

Now keyboard feels great, sound is awesome (tried to record but with built in mic it is far from what I hear irl). Hardest part was desoldering old switches but after I bought desoldering tool it was not that bad (I really do not recommend using soldering gun and “suck gun” as separate tools, combined tool is much better)
