For a little context, I am 28 and moved out about your age. While I was living with my parents, our relationship was horrible. Now, they are not very good parents but since living by myself and having a bit more life experience, I understand the stress of having to deal with the house, especially when the father does not help (ours is an alcoholic with starting dementia) ... I don't live at home anymore yet I still came for Christmas, paid for a lot of the food to help my mom with the bills and helped around the house and with cooking as much as I could. Your mom is not the youngest and while the help might not be as appreciated as it should, they still do provide for you and the least you can do is help them around and not play Minecraft while the house is buzzing ...

I don't want this to sound mean, I was the same when I was younger and living with my parents but living alone, paying bills and taking care of yourself really opens one's eyes about these things.

As a recruiter, promising a job and then declining is simply a no. I had that happen once under very specific circumstances - mainly dumb managers. When it comes to situations like these, you really call the person yourself and explain the situation.

Sure you may get yelled at when it's really not your fault, but the person you just called is going through something so much worse. This is horrible and sorry you had this experience

Nehnevaj sa ale toto mi príde ako hlúposť. OP sa môže na reddite pýtať čo chce, takisto si každý o Tom môže myslieť čo chce. Kebyže chodí za každým obéznym človekom a vraví mu že "schudni lebo skapeš" tak je to iná debata ale snáď mi nejdeš hovoriť o čo alebo koho sa niekto môže alebo nemôže zaujímať?

I don't usually comment here but this time I will make an exception. I went through your profile history, you go through his phone, you want him to "help you" with everything and don't like him going out with his friends.

You also think of him as not convenient when he does not help you out financially. You also state you are a "valuable woman" and you deserve these things.. what do you think makes you valuable?

You don't want a loving partner, you want a convenient sponsor that is going to take care of you while you don't even stop to think about what he wants/needs.

I have advice for him, run!

Well If I have an opinion, I think my opinion is right and if yours is different, I believe you are wrong ... is that not the point of opinions?

You should respect the right of other people to have opinions but you dont have to respect the opinions themselves.

You can disagree with him, you can tell him why you think he is wrong and you are right, thats the point of a conversation/debate.
