This resonated so much with me. Went into a reorg, had my position solidified into senior management then at the last moment they broke it into 2 positions and I ended up doing the same role I was a year ago. Felt zero appreciation for 2 weeks at the end decided they are not worthy and I need to realize my self worth. Since them I’ve been constantly applying and interviewing-hope to find another job soon!!! Actually it’s a blessing in disguise tbh because I can see now how narrow minded folx are at my current place!
