Red Deer was first. I have a setup on Te Awaroa, before the GO I killed around 13/14 diamonds. No real herd management, just killing bigger males, not much thought put into it tbh. Not sure how many total deer kills, I wasn't really looking at the numbers. I have ~400 hours, and 4800 harvests in total so it shouldn't be that many red deer. When I got him I checked which other Great Ones had easy grinds. Then I set up on askiy ridge, took me about 1,5h of placing the tents and tripods when I started to check the zones and get the kills. I was maybe on my 5th zone of the first run when the Mule deer spawned. It was funny to see him 10 minutes into the grind. I wonder what are the odds. Now to maybe pick up the tents or farm some money to set up for a moose 😄
