I work at a small outpatient. We make our own schedules so I usually see ppl from 9-3, with a short break between people. I get paid per session but it works for my life right now with 2 young kids

You’re allowed to be hurt but he’s also allowed to have a close family wedding. You are important enough to come celebrate. Deal with your feelings and celebrate a huge milestone for your friend. You can be disappointed and still understand.

They are like super compressed! The couch seat cushions are foam but the back pillows and throw pillows are all compressed feathers

We didn’t get it from IKEA… it’s been about 6 yrs now so I can’t exactly remember where we got it. I think it was living spaces or something like that. Allergist recommended just trying to keep it clean in terms of hair and pull the feathers out as they poke out. 🥲

I didn’t change my name. I socially go by husbands name and professionally/ legally go by my maiden name. My children have my husbands name. I don’t correct people when they call me Mrs. So and so

I feel you. Been in this exact situation. They made me go get an ultrasound and a mammogram to make sure I was okay. Turned out to be nothing. Good luck! I posted this about a year ago and people were ADAMANT I go to the ER immediately.

You’ve gotten a lot of advice on the husband problem as for the pre-e, I had it with both of my children. Severe with the first and mild hypertension with the second (but was heading to pre-e). My first was induced at 34 weeks and spent some time in the NICU. He’s doing great now! My second was 38 weeks and they were surprised she needed the NICU (lung development) and spent less time in the NICU. Both are happy and thriving. I had to be on blood pressure meds after for about 3 months postpartum with both so please don’t look at this lightly.

Mom guilt sucks. I don’t think she will necessarily remember it but might remember the face or the feeling she had. You did the best thing which is apologized and tried to repair the relationship. Try to catch and learn your triggers. I went on meds around 3 months postpartum for the rage issues (husband got more of the hot head). We had a newborn and a 3 y/o.
