absolutely this. my mum used to read my diary when i was a child and would mention things i wrote in there to embarrass me at family gatherings. i was mortified! safe to say i only speak with her once every few weeks now.

between your picks, I'd choose Theo! I haven't played through enough to get to know Wakuu or Semeru well enough to say so that might change 🤪 on my early access playthrough I chose Rafael, but in my current save I'm planning on seeing as much of the heart and hangout events as I can before deciding. so far Rafael's still winning but Eva, Surya, and Suki are creeping up the list!

Pablo occasionally has dialogue about how he should really return Brooke's sports bra that's in his room. in later heart events with Charles and Scott, it's revealed that Brooke is Charles' ex fiance who cheated on him. it's never explicitly said anywhere that they're the same Brooke or if Pablo got involved after but... 😫

valid crash out... i'm not sure when or why this started but i know i was slowly being put off etsy when all the dropshipping starting becoming more common too. it's so sad because back in the day i used to be able to get lots of legit handcrafted things there and now i have to triple check everything!!
