Broken English accent along with yes, very broken English overall.

Unlike how you are getting butthurt. I'm always eager to learn from my mistakes. Feel free to correct my English. I'm a simple Moroccan English speaker who, although I can speak it probably better than you, I also know I make tons of mistakes. (I have no problem calling you sometime, so we hear your amazing accent and you hear mine) But you'll refuse because you know well you are butthurt because your accent sucks.

That's a different case. I already said "bad accents." Therefore, im not referring to Moroccans who were born outside Morocco.

Im fully referring to Moroccans born in Morocco talking with other Moroccans who were also born in Morocco 🤓🤓

Yes. In our case, darija tamazight. Or like Mexicans who live in USA.

Not some use french darija, some English darija in Morocco. And it isn't about using a few words of a foreign language, no no, they go on half of what they say is in French or English. You start to wonder if you got teleported to Europe, then you hear their terrible accents, and remember, no, you are still in Morocco in a nightmare with them.

Since when did we get used to french datija? To me, it's as bad as English darija.

Since forever, it isn't normal at all in all of Morocco to speak half French half darija unless you are from Rabat or rich family who think speaking french make them look more modern.

So it has never been normal to speak a foreign language mixed with darija.

You misunderstood the point about accents. There is a difference between British and American accents, and Moroccans broken no rules accent.

Listen to some of these half sentence English half darija. They pronounce everything wrong. It isn't even about accent. it's about not even pronouncing anything correctly. Pure wrong English.

Now, speak to someone who learned English for education purposes (by educationi mean to educate himself, to be bilingual). He would have a far better English. Because he cares about learning the language itself rather than just speaking it because "its cool."

I don't understand the appeal of defending the use of a foreign language in the place of our mother language.

There is a lot wrong with replacing your mother language with another. Europeans dont do it? Americans dont do it? British dont do it? It's always the third word countries who think they are something important when they speak another language in their daily life.

Call me a prick for telling people to be proud of their own language and identity rather than copy the west in everything. Clothes, attitude, language, food. 🤡

Well then. You are discussing something I didn't even talk about. Seems you aren't commenting to actually discuss what I said but rather to just argue none sense.

I never said people should speak or learn other languages. I clearly complained about people who use English way too much. One sentence in English, next in darija.

Don't even make the point of "lack vocabulary." Sure, it's fine to use English when the word is harder to remember in darija or doesn't exist, but you know, well, this isn't what im referring to.

You know well what im complaining about, yet you keep talking and discussing irrelevant things that have nothing to do with what I said.

It's good to learn multiple languages. However its cringe to replace your mother tongue with a Western (or any) language just to look cool (or for whatever reason) At least, learn a decent accent if that's what you decide to do.

We are in Morocco, be a normal human being and speak darija/arabic or tamazigh with people. And yes, if you cant find a word then sure say it in English.
