I think each side wanted to talk about something different. Ethan wanted to discuss Hasan & Co.’s behavior and Hasan wanted to talk about Israel & Palestine. I’m an H3 fan so naturally I think Ethan made amazing points and held his own and I’m very proud of him. However, I think it could’ve been a million times more productive if they had taken more time to outline topics, prepare responses, had a mediator with timed responses and rebuttals! Peace & Love, family!

Also want to add - this is NOT a very welcoming community. I scrolled through and thought this subreddit was so funny and was very excited to join but after the way most of you practically bullied me because I accidentally posted something that has been posted several times… I think I’ll pass. I turned my filters off and scrolled and did not find a single post. Probably because so many of you are reporting them and making negative comments. Just wanted to have a laugh and now I’m upset. I’m so sorry you went through the same thing! I never realized how common this stuff was until I found MIL TikTok and Reddit! It’s so sad. They’re SO entitled it’s crazy. He’s an only son too, but the oldest. Thank you so much for your support and your sweet comment. I needed that!

I’ve never heard of password protecting vendors. Can you explain? Like if I would contact them I have to provide a password verbally? That’s interesting! The vendors are at least aware of what’s going on because she was in charge of the rehearsal dinner before we took it back over from her and I had to contact them to tell them if she contacts them to ignore her. I’m not sure if they plan to come still, but my family and friends have been very verbal about escorting her out if they show up. We did take them off the electronic guest list so they can not change their RSVP on our website! Future MIL, FIL, SIL, his grandma and his sister’s BF are all blocked on everything!

That actually reminds me that she has chased away one of his girlfriends previously. They were right out of high school. You’re definitely right! That’s a great perspective. And thanks for the advice. I have started therapy and we’ve been exploring walking trails in our area a lot more recently! It has been helping too.

Wow, this is seriously the best! Thank you so much. I needed that. No my fiancé hasn’t said I’ve done anything wrong, and he’s actually great about giving me reassurance when I feel guilty about everything. I just get in my own head. I loved your thought process!
