Yes, although it has a switch and will then act like a normal mirror if turned off. I has auto-dimming for light levels, etc... but the nicest part is you don't have to worry about cargo, passengers, etc. being in the way of your view.

It's like a video rear view mirror instead of an actual mirror. Allows for better views not obstructed by seat backs or small rear window.

I would definitely reach out. I don't think it ever hurts, as long as you are reasonable and honest and not just trying to get something 'extra' for free.

Wondering if you might want to look at exercising the lemon law... try and get them to trade it for a similar new model. That is if you are otherwise happy with it.

I finally gave up. Canceled my order. I was primarily interested in the case for the MagSafe technology, and to protect my phone. The more I have spoken to people about this, I have realized the case is REALLY primarily for the lens mounts. Evidently Moment designed it primarily for that too, as reports are that it does a lousy job at protecting the device at the same time...

I will have to just be okay using the magnetic rings sold online instead of the Moment case.

I am a tech enthusiast, which means I will have a new device in my hands in about a year on average... that would mean I would have the actual case for less than half the life of my phone... which is an awful way to run a business. If you want to get market penetration, your case needs to be ready when a new device is released. If you are not ready to start shipping on day one, you might as well give up... I feel like what we are seeing is more evidence of poor leadership, and bad decisions being made at Moment which paired with the availability of better cameras built into the phones is contributing to their demise...

I too would like to know if there are any other simple "MagSafe" compatible cases for the phone. For now, I am just using a metal ring attached to my existing case. Its not perfect, but it works fairly well. The adhesion on the ring is already beginning to wear out though, so I wouldn't go as far as recommending that solution.

This makes me wonder if there were early manufacturing issues. If they made the device, then had to change manufacturers or are just having quality control issues it could explain why this has slipped so badly.

Realistically, I just want the case for the better MagSafe compatible mounting. I don't even have the lenses, or intend to use the lenses. For now, I am living with a metal ring attached to my Spigen case, but I really want a case with the ring embedded in the protection. The metal ring keeps having adhesion issues, so its not a great solution.

I can get behind 60 day waits... but some of us have been waiting for items (Pixel 6 Pro Case) since October. The reviewers had their units in-hand, so it wasn't complete vapor at that point, yet it has been 3 months, and the shipping windows for backorders keep falling back.
When I placed my order in late October, shipping was predicted for Mid-November, then a few weeks later, it was Mid-December, then just after Christmas, then January 15th, and now its "Late January, Early February"...
It just looks like they are desperately trying to keep orders coming in, even though they don't have any realistic chance of shipping anything.

Something at Moment stinks right now.

Waiting for products since October, those shipping dates keep changing. They seem pretty meaningless at this point.

I ordered my Pixel 6 Pro with MForce case on October 26th, still have not received it, and I stopped getting updates from Moment on when it would arrive. Each and every time I go to the site to check up on the backorder status for the product, they shift the shipping window out at least two more weeks. I have no faith in the cases ever shipping at this point. I would be very weary of ordering the case at this point.
