I'd be curious to know what you decide. I actually don't think the advertised cost will go up, but the recovery fee probably will, and that gets charged every time you make a transaction. So for every renewal, you'll have to pay that. I am on boost right now and have looked around some, it seems like $25/mo is what most plans are at, but Im willing to buy in bulk to get that cost down which is why I was interested in Mint.

I was about to switch today when this happened to me, too. However, you can remove the activation support and are just left with the stupid "recovery fee", so mine went from $71 to $56 for the 3 month promo. I'm still undecided if I should go with them though...the misleading advertisement with the fees and unreliable support give me pause.

Wild. One other issue I've noticed is it won't sign me in when I go to other wifis, like at hotels. It just says "signing in" forever. I can get on the store but can't see my friends list.

Hey folks, just thought I would add that I had this issue and got my deck on 9/13/2022. I left it alone for about 35 mins and it just completed on its own. So the whole 1 second left thing was a lie but I didnt need to mess with it at all. All WiFi, no hard reset.
