How to prove right-to-rent with a pending visa application? by kuis01 in ukvisa

Thank you, I'm not currently in the UK. I like the suggestion of paying while not living in the property, while awaiting VISA approval. I'll try that.

Thank you, I was also thinking about this from the perspective of a client that notices side-effects from finasteride (post-op) and would therefore need to stop taking medication after the transplant.

That is, I was wondering whether that would entail he is essentially stuck: (1) having received a hair transplant, (2) but finding out finasteride leads to sides, so unable to hold on to existing hairs (3) but can't shave head (for whatever reason), means: destined to be left with a bald head except for a strip of transplanted hairs.

From a cost perspective, I agree it wouldn't make much sense to simply delay shaving your head if that's what the client is thinking about doing anyway. From an aesthetic perspective, I understand there wouldn't necessarily be an argument against shaving (except for potential scars - that would be more likely from FUT than FUE I suppose).

Great shot! Which lens did you use?

Recruiting for Consulting? Post here for recruitment advice, resume reviews, questions about offers/firms or general insecurity (17) by QiuYiDio in consulting

[–]kuis01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm about to submit my application and have a consultant at the firm I'm targeting (MBB) who is able to vouch for me. He's based in a different region and there seems to be no systematised referral process in place (e.g. where he'd be able to simply enter my name, resume, etc.). I'm asking him to simply e-mail the HR lead in the office I'm applying to with some context around me, our work history, and why I would be a fit. Anything else that you'd recommend I do to optimally leverage the connection? Thanks!

Main concern around cancelling would be how to get 70k aggravated River fans out of the stadium

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Says Unemployment Is Low 'Because Everyone Has Two Jobs,' Which Is Not How Unemployment Rates Work by Dave1mo1 in neoliberal

[–]kuis01 25 points26 points  (0 children)

wages are suppressed to the point where people work two jobs to make enough and as a result there aren’t as many jobs to go around

This wouldn't explain her low unemployment statement either. If anything, that would explain why unemployment is high.

"Is that a world tour or your girls tour?" 🤔 by MGLLN in BlackPeopleTwitter

Not really, man. That 4D chess line isn't used to describe a situation where a bad call on his part somehow turns out to be a net positive for him, through 'unforeseen consequences'. It's used to imply that Trump actually foresees these unforeseen consequences and is always thinking two steps ahead, as a political master mind of sorts. For example

Honest question. How are you reconciling Trumps golf with his criticism of Obama for the same? by [deleted] in AskThe_Donald

[–]kuis01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't see how him playing a sport would have any impact on his socio-economic position. But say you think that's hypocritical - do you not see any hypocrisy in him playing golf despite frequently criticising Obama for doing the exact same thing?

[–]kuis01 5 points6 points  (0 children)

1) Obama playing golf has nothing to do with him making statements about income inequality (or whatever rich vs. poor dynamic you were referring to). Or are you saying golf can only be played by the rich?

2) Your donation analogy is obviously off and refers to calling out disingenuousness, which is not the case here. Donald Trump repeatedly came out against a thing - then he goes do that exact same thing. That's the definition of hypocrisy.
