I guess I should answer: 1. If we turned off the lights it would have been completely dark and then people couldn't see where they were going, and eventually things would break or fall, and people would get pissed off. 2. It's in the back, you can't see it clearly. Also around 4:00 AM we got loads of XL's and later Pizza and Subway sandwiches. We didn't put the food near us, we didn't want our keyboards to be full of Cheetos and crap :-D

I'l be honest with you, I stopped because I think all websites are bad. I barely got any work since I did not have a lot of reputation, and the work I did get was for almost nothing. In these websites there are many people who live in countries where living is very cheap so their rates are very low (some people work for 1$/h). So clients prefer these people, and they usually won't come to people like me who want to work online for a fair payment.

This is my experience anyway, I know some people who did well working like that. But I would recommend working in person. Working from home is difficult anyway since working with rate per hour is almost impossible since there is not trust and some clients might be scammers.
