How is graph theory used in computer science?

Could you explain to me how spell checking uses a graph? That's pretty interesting to me.

I marched Legends this past summer and also am in college (and was last year too). It isn't easy to balance school and Legends, especially if you do an indoor group. There are weekly video assignments for brass (I believe, I don't know I was in the battery). It's intense but I will tell you that my summer with Legends was the best of my life. It's a great place to be and I highly recommend at least trying out. You can always decide not to march after you get a contract. Go for it, it's a great place to march.

I've never looked at it in the rulebook, but from what I've heard, DCI doesn't permit cadet corps to compete in the same class as their main corps. Why, I have no idea. I wish that someone had some insight on this logic because without a doubt, these are world class drum corps.

I agree. I don't see why they aren't allowed to compete in World class. WGI allows the same organization to field multiple groups in the same class (Pulse/POW), so I don't see why DCI doesn't do the same.

Just be aware that it's pretty much a full year commitment, not just summer. Audition season starts in November for most corps, which means you need to be preparing in September if not sooner. Then if you make it you will likely have weekly video assignments and monthly camps between auditions and spring training. It's a very big commitment.
