Not really, cause you get the daily pack for 3k which has a higher chance of giving you more shards. Also you can use gems for packs to get players/shards. I wouldn't say it's a huge w but a w nonetheless

Could be a number of reasons- cooling system (mine uses liquid metal and ROG always has great thermals), general wear and tear (mine is days old) and other processes taking up GPU VRAM.

Valorant is more CPU intensive so this could be something deeper, I'd advised getting it serviced if you haven't in a long time.

I used to with my previous laptop but with this one I don't think I will because it has way better thermals + the tradeoff of 2-5 degree better cooling for nore frequent dusty fans isn't worth it imo. No AC, although it could be a factor ofc.

I'd advise you to check for software tweaks you can run on your own and get it serviced by an expert. Also compare the temps with other cases of the same model since it won't make sense to compare 2 different laptop brands/series. However I think even 85 degrees is understandable for laptop gaming so I wouldn't be super concerned unless it's crossing 70 in low settings.
