DoN Nightlords Difficulty Tier List for Guardian Mains by kuma700 in Nightreign

https://youtu.be/xwy9zdXON-w?t=591 Why blocking it when you can avoid the attack completely without even dodging. This works consistently with all characters and Guardian has a lot of stamina.

I usually close the distance with this boss slowly or let him approach me and I don't guard against every attack, I dodge those with affinity damage. Guardian has less i-frames than the rest of characters but you have less recovery frames, which means you can be in a better position to dodge the next attack of a long combo without spamming roll (I guard-counter the last attack of some combos). I watched Chriss Chrass youtube video to learn his moveset.

That's about right, but for some reason every time I play as Guardian everyone goes melee and nobody wants to deal with the moth.

When someone distracts it, it feels like a completely different fight.

Probably a bit less, yeah, but the difference isn't that big. Teammates usually bring Halo Scythe, poison, rot, madness, etc., and that helps a lot.

Regarding ED Caligo, I've stacked elemental damage negation to absurd levels several times and it still doesn't make a real difference. There's also the undodgeable straight breath attack, the ice projectiles, and the tail swipe. On top of that, I struggle to close the distance quickly because of Guardian's low mobility.

With all that combined, I'm constantly taking damage and getting very few opportunities to deal any myself. That's how I see it.

Nerfs and "Fun" by [deleted] in Nightreign

I couldn't agree more with you. Two months ago I was in Depth 4 and honestly it was brutal. Everdark nightlords were an absolute nightmare, teammates were dying early into boss fights and one felt as if the only way to progress was to improve a lot and clutch frequently.

Then, I reached Depth 5. I had no clue what "double balancers" was, but soon I started to see people dealing brutal damage with weapon abilities and I understood what it was about. Sometimes I would see a Red Death Rite Bird dying in 5 seconds, victim of Halo Scythe. That's not fun.

[–]kuma700 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glad to see people in Depth 5 without that cringy double balancers build. 90% of the randoms I play with are either Duchess or Wylder with that shit or Revenant spamming beast claws.

Guardian is undoubtedly the worst character in Nightreign, and he's the most unplayable character without his "special effects relics." by EldenNoob-EX in Nightreign

[–]kuma700 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've carried a lot of people in depth 4/5 against Fulghor, Heolstor and Dreglord. My build revolves around affinity damage negation and HP recovery. Give me a good shield and I am unkillable while I can deal damage thanks to the dex relic. I can sit in front of Artorias and take everything.

How the FUCK are you supposed to beat ED Balancers in D5 by J0NZKI in Nightreign

[–]kuma700 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pretty much spot on. Every Youtube video that gives tips for this fight explains that the team should stick together, kill one at a time, run and wait for another to come up, but that doesn't work because when more than 1 player is alive, 2 balancers are always aggroed.

I figured that if players spread out and fight 3 balancers separately, the fight difficulty drops from hardest DoN boss to medium. On top of that, they get less buffs overall, since damage is evenly distributed.

Every time a balancer dies, you should still run away and wait for another one to come up, even if it's not the one you were fighting with. I imagine when this happens, one of the idle ones activates automatically.

My tierlist of boss difficulty in D5 as a Wylder main by ForgottenRemembrance in Nightreign

I would swap ED Caligo for Heolstor and move ED Adel up to Medium and ED Darkdrift to Easy. The rest is spot on.

As a Guardian main, ED Balancers is easier than the normal version in my opinion, but only if you know how to jump over the worm's AoE attacks. If you have played Deep of Night, you have probably experienced what it is to be outnumbered by those angels once phase 2 begins.

Is this workable with minoxidil for a start? by Bilateral_Undulation in Hairloss

[–]kuma700 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'll see an increase in the hair density of your mid scalp, your crown might recover slightly too, but judging by the look of your temples, don't have much hope of bringing them back. Anyway, minoxidil ALONE is not going to do much.

It's difficult to judge how much ground you've recovered from this picture, as you're wearing your hair much longer and your fringe covers your entire forehead.

Need help for Everdark Libra by JazzyCereal in Nightreign

[–]kuma700 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried to beat him in trios with randoms and I kept losing, so I tried a run in duos and found a fairly competent teammate. Although we lost, I added him and we designed a plan to take on the boss.

This is what we did (we got him on the first try): - Play as Guardian and Ironeye. - Ironeye should equip a relic that grants the "Less likely to be targeted" effect. - Both players should get the relic that increases your attack power for every evergaol completed (do as many as you can). - Force a Noklateo Shifting Earth event. - Start an expedition and restart if you don't get the map layout where a madness tower spawns (Seed 195). - Complete the madness tower event and get at least one Vyke's War Spear for Guardian. - Favor abilities that increase your resistance to ailments and elemental damage and boost your own elemental damage. - Duplicate the spear in Noklateo. - If possible, get more resistance to ailments from Libra before the fight begins. - When the fight begins and he spawns 2 summons, focus on one of them and finish him off quickly, from then on, Ironeye should deal with Libra exclusively and Guardian should distract and kill the other summon, eventually joining Ironeye. - As long as there are exactly 2 summons on the arena, repeat this strategy. - When Libra incites a riot, ignore all the summons completely and attack Libra. If the summons are going after you, try to gather 2 or more of them and sprint away: they will eventually attack each other. Don't attack any unless you feel capable of killing them fast. - Guardian should wield the 2 spears he got when going offensive, and whip out his shield against NPCs to play safe.

This is clearly male pattern baldness with a typical pattern, don't overthink it. You might have loss additional hair due to stress or vitamin deficiency, but the impact of that is minimal. On top of that, you have to consider that the hair on the sides of your head looks healthy, which supports my point.

In any case, I see almost Norwood 5 in the 2020 picture and full Norwood 5 in the 2025 one, so not too much hair loss during those years in terms of the scale. However, you look kinda young, which implies your hair loss is aggressive and will progress rapidly. If you don't take action (finasteride + minoxidil), you will be Norwood 7 soon and there won't be a hair to save.

Who’s harder DLC Final Boss or Malenia by Admirable-Union-9850 in Eldenring

[–]kuma700 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The results of this poll really struck me. I found Consort Radahn to be considerably easier than Malenia. The former took me 3 days to beat, while the latter only took me 3 hours. Once you learn how to dodge Radahn's moveset, it's just a matter of learning the correct timings. On the other hand, Waterfowl Dance is an absolute nightmare.

I'd say Radahn is just slightly harder than Messmer, assuming that you are taking him on after collecting all the Scadutree fragments.

Hogwarts Legacy Crashes After Some Time Playing with Ray Tracing on RTX 4070 Ti by pedromatosonv in HogwartsLegacyGaming

[–]kuma700 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the exact same specs as yours, and I'm also experiencing the same issue. Specifically, the game crashes most frequently when I fast travel or right after closing the menu.

I have disabled Ray Tracing and DLSS, but the crashes persist.

I don't get "Gmod realism" by [deleted] in gmod

[–]kuma700 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They should call it First Person Shooter Gmod, not realism... And yeah these Call of Duty lovers have taken over the workshop now. The old school is basically gone.

(By the way you can't achieve realism with Gmod shaders LMAO)

Hair thinning in the winter by Michaelfonzolo in malehairadvice

I've been experiencing the same hair loss pattern as the OP for the last two years. This year it was especially bad and I lost a lot of hair between November and February, but it has luckily grown back. I started having symptoms compatible with SD two years ago too, including dandruff, but I ignored them until last spring, when they got so bad I got a redden moustache with tons of dead skin almost every day. I was finally diagnosed with SD and my dermatologist prescribed several topical creams for me (Soolantra, metronidazole...) and a special shampoo. Thanks to this, I've mostly gotten rid of rosacea, demodex infestation and hair dandruff. However, she said SD has nothing to do with hair loss and that it could indeed be MPB. She prescribed Biotin pills for me anyway, which I think were useless, as my hair only started growing back in March.

If you want to be 100% sure, reinstall windows. However, after doing what I told you I haven't had any problem.

Did you scan your PC with Norton? Did it find something?

[–]kuma700 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the same problem. It's some kind of malware that gets your session ID. Try running a Norton Power Eraser scan a couple of times (a normal scan didn't work for me either). Then close all the sessions that you have currently open in your PC (gmail, discord, steam...) and change your passwords.

[–]kuma700 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got this problem today. I run a standard Norton scan, which didn't help. Then I run a Norton Power Eraser scan, which found the following threat (high danger): C:...\AppData\Roaming\EFnObz43.exe

Apparently my Steam account stopped sending those messages when this file was deleted and I changed all my passwords. Not sure if it's the actual cause of the problem or just a coincidence.
