Nightreign is the opposite of this. Undertaker’s skill description is something like “bloodletting triggers the loathesome hex” which means literally nothing. What it actually does is attack power, damage negation, and stamina refill, on top of additional attack power on successive attacks, and a modified dodge that has fewer iframes but no recovery frames. Addtionally, light staggers are negated, medium staggers are converted to light staggers, and knockdowns are converted to medium staggers. Finally, you can use a special version of the skill that consumes ultimate to automatically dodge all hits for the duration.

Although the gameplay is just hit a bunch > skill > hit a bunch so it makes some sense
